    Flipper Tails.....

Just curious......do you leave your flipper tails on a spoon that comes with them ?......or do you take yours off.

Some spoons have 'em ...some don't.

    If you use them....why?

    If you take them off...why?

I leave mine on as long as they stay bright. They seem to tarnish pretty quickly and when they get crappy I usually take them off. I honestly don't know whether they are better with or without-my guess is the same as I'm sure I would have noticed it.

Spoons fish well enough without the tail so why bother ?
I take them off, just a gimmick IMO.

Manufacturers say they add them to add extra flash and sonic vibrations to the spoon. I fish them both on and off, haven't really noticed much difference.
