Considering the choices we have, I think I'd almost give the Marijauna party a go...

No kidding. Its a joke. Ive pretty much gotten numb to the fact of all this government crap. Its starting to seem pointless as anyone who gets any sort of power gives us way more reasons to hate them rather then more reasons to like them!

The real problem isn't the leaders we elect. They are just one person. Sure, their party line and personal beliefs come into play, but almost negligibly in reality. The real problem is the beaureucrats who's jobs are not related to who runs the province or the country. They are not effected by party or elections. They are the real government. You could vote in a Walrus and nothing would change. As a matter of fact, without someone at the top changing anything the odds of increased damage actually drop!

I say we revive the Rhino Party. Now that was a political party worth voting for! Back in the late 80's they actually almost won a riding in Calgary. I think the spread was less than 100 votes! Just goes to show how sadly desperate things are in the Canadian political scene. As for the Good politicians, even though their hearts are in the right place, they soon get tired of smashing their collective heads into a brick wall trying to change a system that won't allow them to change it and they are either ejected from politics or they quit before they put a gun in their mouths.

    Sad, Very Sad.

gotta be able to run a party before you can run a province.

Have to agree with that Holmzie. Campbell is a prime example of a puppet - bought & paid for - by the Yanks and the Norweigians and our Super Natural British Columbia has never suffered worse for it than under his stewardship...

Yup , I agree with ya Holmes , but we both know the likelihood of that happening! Hopefully with some fresh leaders we can get this province back on track! Oh Terry, don't be silly....British Columbia has suffered a LOT WORSE under previous regimes. This one was just the latest and most easily remembered. I have been self employed for almost 40 yrs. now and the last 10 were a hell of a lot better than the first 10. Oh, and re: the avatar...I have the original photo (sans bikini) She's older than she looks !!! I will show you the next time you're in Cache Creek. Den

From the looks of it the best BC can do is Homer Simpson!

Hats off to anyone who decides to run for public office. Think about how much crap that entails 24/7. Not worth it as far as I'm concerned. I would like to see Mike Hick's run for premier...a good ole boy...a Ralph Kline for BC!!! Politics in BC would become entertaining and worth following.
