Kinda thought this was in the works after yesterday's Emergency Meeting was canceled.
Well overdue! Might actually give the new LIEberals leader a run for the money... IF they pick someone with a little bit of competence that is...
I sure hope John Horgan from Juan de Fuca goes for it Excellent man likes Fishing, Hockey the works Smart Cookie also, I would Vote for John any day!!
I am so happy to see Carole James gone.
I met a really smart 41 lb spring once-and he'd get my vote-much more clever than any politico I know and an honest straight fight!!! Nuff said-this province is amazing for the inept politico's we grow-the liberals are on the ropes-deserved or not-the NDP figures they should walk into gov't and they descend into bickering and self implode. Unbelievable-must be tough to be a leader and just when it looks like you get the prize all your so-called loyal followers drag out the knives and cunningly snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!! Guess we deserve the gov't we get-hope another party starts up-I can't vote for either of these! My afternoon rant!!
"So many fish-So little time"
i would go with horgan also,he is very community minded.i have met him a few times and he seems qiute down to earth.
He'd rock the legislature for sure. Ardent fisherman as well. The salmon-farmers would be shaken in their collective boots!
"Some could care less if there's any fish left for our kids!"
Listen, did you hear that... a tear just hit the floor, no wait it was a condensation drip from my beer bottle. It is for the better, they may stand a chance at getting a couple of votes now (depending upon who takes the leadership role). Either party is definately a crap-shoot as to who will lead them into the next election. It is still going to come down to voting for the lesser of two evils. It always seems that no matter how good a politicians intentions are when they start out in politics, those intentions become a distant memory because a leader that doesn't have the support of his peers, gets tossed out on his or her ear. We need someone that is willing to buck the trend and stand up to the floater politicos that are in the system. (that is one of the only good things that I can say for old Gordo, he did have a back-bone, may have been a bit of an a$$ to some but he had big ones). I know I couldn't do that job, I would definately go INSANE being surrounded by so much stupidity. Back to fishing, something that does make me happy.
Tips Up! And Tight Lines!
Not a huge NDPer, but with James gone I can at least have an open mind, and maybe another choice.
