    Herring

Saw a post in another forum on this topic, about a different area, and it peeked my interest. When do the herring start to run up the gorge in Vic Harbour?

I acknowledges that the herrings start to run up the Gorge by NOW. But the best time for the Gorge to have thick schools of Herring is in the middle of March.

Just go to the gorge bridge on Craigflower. If you see tons of guys you know its on.

those guys usually are good indication if fish are here or not.

Good to hear you lucky people still see herring in your nabourhood. We used to see all kinds in the howesound too, now there are virtually none.] If you see a herring it's a good day to buy a lottery ticket. Piss on DFO[B)] and others once again.

I'm setting my priorities. I'm making time for fishing.
