    Cheap seat dampeners

Anyone used this system??? Caught my attention because its not the $1000+/seat of standard suspension seats. But only 1" of travel??????

Tried the suspension today in 1-2ft chop and methinks for the price you can't go wrong with this product, pretty happy with it.
Had some fun installing it, make sure you have a nicely reinforced base, in your case brian your under seat storage should be strong enough.
Trial went ok until I hit a damn log at 50km/hr ouch!
    good luck

    Hey Gypseas,

I took a look at that seat on eBay and it looks like it might be a good option. I had some concern about the mounting hardware rusting so contacted the eBay seller. He has indicated that the mounting components are made of painted metal so you'll want to make sure you stay on top of any scratches and keep them protected.

I was just surfing and Attwood makes one as well. The garelick one looks like it's more beefy. Don't know the price.

True it is all steel and the springs are not even painted, but considering you can buy the same setup for twice the $$ at 120 delivered it's not bad.

    And the log is ok
    you betcha

I looked around for any reviews on the Garelick one and never found any. They look interesting but I wonder how well they work and will they hold up to a beating?? Anyone else find any actual reviews??

In case anyone was considering buying the Garelick's, I found these on Ebay for $79.99 each. Cheapest I've found.
