Island dude I took the belly tank out of my old 17.5 Double Eagle, didn't notice any difference to the way it rode.
Just trimmed the motor to suit.

First a 17.5 hardtop eventually repowered with a yamaha 130 two stroke.
Scary fast 49.5 mph on the gps. Too fast IMHO. Thing was a tank, bullet proof....
