Do a little searching on font styles. It can be fun to pick a font that suites the name or boat. Had them done from a friend in Poco and mailed over. Applied myself, which was fairly easy. I picked a...
Polish em up, use as dummy flasher up to 50' deep. Lots of noise from some of these I bet. Plastic has taken over but I'm sure these will work. Only one real way to find out.
Definitely a stocked lake! Did you check out the full album here: https://plus.google.com/photos/113305236572191447313/albums/5879187366790125969?authkey=CNHTiOSlmYW2ygE
I recently went on a road trip with my wife and our baby girl. We had lots of fun. If you haven't been down along the Oregon and California coast, I'd recommend it. Lots of beauty along that section...
You label your leaders specifying length? Does an inch make that much of a difference?
The second and third photos you posted are great photos. Using a phone to take em is even more impressive.
I tried this same thing with my danforth and it had troubles holding bottom. I have since gone back to shackle and chain hanging off the tail end. I think that when the anchor flips, the chain gets...
I'd say 1. Mount a strip of starboard or white cutting board material on the transom and the bottom and if one location isn't great, you can move it without putting more holes in transom.
Flipping the line around sounds like a great idea.
You saying this flasher does a kick flip? Damn!!!
Strong currents prevent most opportunities. If you are going to drop a trap, maybe throw an anchor down with it. And some weight. And in low current.
The high and lows of being a Canucks fan are getting tough to deal. Kesler was a beast last night, and Lou did make some great saves, but they will need more from others if they expect to win games....
Agreed!
I'm voting green to make a statement. I don't expect them to win my riding, but I hope the other parties pay attention to the fact that more and more are voting green. We care about our...
I don't know much about bucktails as you know AP, but I would save those hooks only for the front hook. It seems to me that those are some good hooks and it looks like they have a long shank, which...
Thanks for all the tips guys!! Have pinned all these spots in the ipad. We have 3 weeks so we will get to take our time and check out a lot of spots.
I am headed on a road trip with my wife and baby. We are renting a motorhome and will be following the coast from Astoria OR to Santa Cruz CA. If you know of any areas of interest or nice RV...
Was there a game one Saturday night? I must have forgotten about it already. 2-1 win vs sj.
2-1 for Canucks tonight vs Oilers.
You might fit in better here capt hook....... http://www.commercial-fishing.org/forum/
I'm sure they would love to hear about how you have grown to love quota fishing.
Supply and demand also affects price. More alloy boats out there.... can equate to lower prices of ally boats. Careful what you wish for.
So what do all you May Ray haters think about the lighting bolt now?
Stay away from Quarry Bay. That's my sweet spot....:p. Actually, I've only ever caught ling and cabezon there so have at'r. Have caught salmon at the power lines off texada. Prawns open April 1 in...
Do you have any more details? I have one and would like to know what to watch out for. I like it so far, but if it blows up on a nice fish, I may change my tone.
I believe they do it to identify the animals that keep returning to the dam after attempts to scare it off. The animals that don't "learn", get off'd.
