Posted - 02/22/2010 : 11:53:04 This area of Beechy Head/Trap Shack that I have fished often, those tides have been running hard...making it hard on so much gas and putting kelps and debris on my fishing lines. but good fish are there as I know. |

Posted - 02/22/2010 : 08:04:59 Out on Sunday, Fished from the Trap to Secretary, never caught anything but was real nice on the water. Turned around to go back but the tide was running making it hard to fish in that direction. Fished a bit near Beechy Head too but still never caught anything. On a good note we caught one nice Dungy crab and the biggest Rock crab I've ever seen. Really nice day just no fish.
And remember....Keep your tip up!!! |

Posted - 02/19/2010 : 17:24:25 When I went out of Cheanuh last Sunday afternoon. There were a lot of little guys in this area.....
I heard the Trap, and off Beachy was going OK.

Posted - 02/19/2010 : 17:12:58 I would launch at Cheanuh and troll in front of the Bedford islands outside line around 140 ft and inside line around 120 ft, plus minus 20 ft either way close to bottom. My favorite is a green glow flasher with any of the green and green/white glow needlefish hootchies. Anchovies would be my second next choice. |

Posted - 02/19/2010 : 10:22:14 I was hoping to get out on the water on Saturday for a few hours. I was going to go out of Cheanuh and was wondering where would be the best place to go. Looking for a spring, should one still be fishing right off the bottom in 150+ ft of water this time of year or can one find them in tight maybe close to the Trap Shack. Glow white hootchie(Note spelling...lol) or roll a nice juicy anchovie? Don't get out much this time of year so any help would be good, thanks.... Steve.
And remember....Keep your tip up!!! |

Posted - 02/14/2010 : 20:07:38 Went out with the family today out near the Bedfords and pulled in a nice 10 lber. Should be good for the barb-b-q. Got it on a Gold glow betsy with a mint tulip hoochie at 150 feet. Only a couple other boats out there. Man what a nice day. |

Posted - 01/31/2010 : 21:32:32 Slow out infront of Secretary for us today. One undersize to the boat and one good hit off the clip that didn't stick. Didn't seem like there was much action happenin with the boats around us. hoping the Halibut fishing is better! |
