hi paul we often do well around pill down to vernon bay this time of year a we didnt try it last weekend but we dropped the traps there for acouple hours on the way home and there was a few boats fishing around rainy bay i would try the white and lime green spoon and flasher 120 ft around there -- its our on the way home spot and its often the best after getting mediocre results out further !! hootchies i go from my thumb to chin maybe 6" longer sometimes and spoons four to six feet one of my favourites is the pistachio color hootchie white with lime grren spots also a 5 " tubby602 plug is a standby lure for me i even do well with it when theyre feeding on needlfish just troll slightly faster with plugs - mike
