Try your local lakes, Westwood, Long, Divers, Brannen, etc. Your barbless hook reg is as easy as crimping the barb down with a pair of pliers. Most of the lakes are stocked and those are the fish MOE wants you to catch. The rivers and streams are the santuary of wild stocks and they really would rather not have you fish those areas. Do an internet search, type in BC fishing regs and the MOE website will pop, just look in Region 1 and read all the do's and don'ts. Check in at any local sporting store, Screaming fish, Gone Fishin' and they will be more than happy to help. Good fishing.
