had Ray Hana RAF WW2 vet who was one of the last pilots still allowed to fly a spitfire
do a low level fly by when we where at the Goodwood revival 2004 ...he's since past
but all the guys from WW2 where true hero's but such a shame so many lost there lives
due respect to all war vets
 
Great story.
These vets are true hero's and the reason we can enjoy our freedom and fishing.
I worry about crossing the strait of Georgia in my boat and I have got GPS, chart plotter, radar, radio ,cell phone and access to instant weather and sea conditions.
He headed into Germany by himself with only a compass, was unarmed, and everyone was trying to kill him.
Very very brave men.

Very well said , Dave. we only know how lucky we are when we see who sacrificed and how they did it.
 
Amazing video, can't imagine what went through Blyths head when he saw that footage.
