Howdy,
In an effort to learn more about Campbell's latest blunder - and potentially his most significant as he proceeds to sell our rivers & streams and beloved BC Hydro out from under our feet - I asked Rafe Mair if he could help bring me up to speed on this insanity.
After only a brief examination the piece's have fallen into place. I've decided that perhaps the net-pen fishfarming thing is but a ploy to distract us all while Gordy's in bed with the American's pumping up the Private Power gig.
Rafe sees it, and now I see it as well...
Gordon Campbell's MASTER-PLAN:
1) Kill all the Wild Salmon.
2) Spread the net-pens coast-wide to meet the Americans' seafood needs. Jobs for unemployed BC Hydro people.
3) Utilize all the 'dead' rivers of BC to make hydro power and then - pipe the water South of the Border.
With the salmon will go the Orca's, seal's, sea-lion's, Coastal brown & black bears, Native Culture and food, otter's, seabirds, sportfishing, tourisim, and commercial fishing, to name but a few.
Think about it.
With the salmon out of the way, he and the Americans can plunder Super Natural BC for all its worth!
This madman must be stopped!

I would never suggest that the net-pen issue take a backseat to any that affect Wild Salmon. But this private-power scheme (and it is a scheme!) deserves our full attention as well.
I urge each and every one of you to help out and get involved in opposing this environmental-holocaust in the works.
