Where can I buy maple sugar and liquid smoke

I have been looking around the store for Maple sugar and liquid smoke . I have no luck. I am living in Langford ( Victoria)

They do not carry for Maple Sugar ?

I haven't check with Liquid smoke.

Are you sure you don't want maple syrup Duncan? Costco is best for maple syrup. Superstore is also good pricing. Or the cheap alternative is regular syrup and maple extract. Did a taste test for the wife a while back and she guessed wrong.
The best sugar for brining is Demerara brown sugar imo.

maple sugar is REALLY expensive I use maple syrup and brown sugar to make a glaze.

as for liquid smoke I have some I got at bass pro and you can have it if you want

Liquid smoke you can get at Save on foods and also Safeway. Hickory smoke and Mesquite Smoke are the 2 different flavors I have seen there. I like the Hickory the most.

I make a lot of Indian candy and smoked salmon-I use Demerara sugar but I use Maple flavouring for brine-I also use rum extract for flavouring brine. When I finish the fish with a wash I will use real rum/scotch and Demerara sugar. I cannot taste the difference in the finished product. Real Maple syrup in the brine makes it extremely expensive.
