When did the herring leave the Gorge?

I just drove past the Gorge bridge today (Saturday morning) and there were no jiggers?

Are the herring gone? When did they leave?

I have been away on business for a couple of weeks and was just curious when the "bait-catching-fest" tends to end. Typically speaking of course.

I realize that every year's patterns will be unique (like the pinks really late in the Quinsam this past fall).

... If only I caught an earlier ferry on Friday!!! I'd have been back in time to catch 50 more!
But seriously, humour is great, but try to answer the honest question.
