What is the recipe for seafood coctail?

There is a delicious version of seafood coctail, particulary served in Mexican Restaurants in El Paso and the South West. It has cucumbers, shrimp, avacodo, octopus, squid, jalapenos, etc. I would like to know what they use to make the sauce. Can someone please give me the recipe?
 
Ceviche is not what's in mind there. That's a pacific coast thing, OP is thinking Tex Mex.
 
ceviche is a south and central american thing, it is popular most everywhere now, but that is it's origin. I would think his cocktail is most likely some type of ceviche as there are so many variations of it.
