waterproofing

My canvas boat top needs a little help in the waterproofing. Hoping a clean and some type spray will do the job. The 303 fabric guard looks like good stuff. Can't seem to find it around. Anyone seen this stuff or a similar during their travels??

Thanks
PB

I've used the 303 fabric guard for years with good results.Every second year I redo it and that seems to do the trick as long as I don't leave the top up and exposed to the sun when not in use.I think UV rays breaks down the treatment

Agua guard works well too i even use it on my boots...

Steveston Marine carries it. I've used 303 fabric guard the last 2 years on my canvas top and it works really well. Water beads really well after applying it but just make sure you get the canvas nice and clean before applying.

Last year I used a starbrite product. Worked ok for the summer

I think the key is getting the canvas CLEAN!!
I actually put mine through the wash on delicate. Came out sparkling line new

I'm going to try power washing it this year, see if that works as well with out having to disassemble the top

Have a pretty big canvas wall tent. Couldn't afford to waterproof it. It's big, been using Thompsons water seal from home depot. Put it on with a pesticide sprayer and foam roller
