I am looking for something older and smaller in size. Maybe even a 6 horse.
I have seen the older yamaha 8 and it is quite small and light.
The smaller and lighter the better.

Here's a deal for you.
Late 1970's 8 horse Chrysler short shaft two stroke
New Portable tank and fuel line.
Needs some carb tuning and general tune up.
$75.00 takes it away.

http://craigslist.org is a great place to find cheap used stuff. I was in Stanwood Washington last weekend, and I bought a 15hp Gamefisher outboard with a long shaft and a sail prop for $400.00 I found it on Bellingham craigslist, I was camping on Camano Island anyways, and it cost me only GST to bring it back across the border. I have found just as good deals on vacnouver.craigslist.org as well.
