Good opportunity here. Thrifty Foods is selling whole fresh pork legs ( yes-- the back ones ! ) for only $1.00 a pound. This in the Comox Valley-- but I expect that other Thriftys on the Island are doing the same. The leg I just bought was 20 lbs. Thats a lot of meat for $20.

Thanks CL-My daughter is amazed by how I find out about the pork sales when I'm down here in Baja. My order is in, in Maple Ridge with her now for 120 lbs for the april sausage making when I get back. Just so everyone knows this sale is not just in Courtenay the flyer is out in the lower mainland as well starting today!! Power of the internet!! Thanks again. Mike
