Very cool Aquaculture project in US

It sounds too good to be true. Reading the article I get the distinct impression that their projected figures are unachievable in the real world. The two items that seem pretty hard to believe are the claims that they are only going to use a pound of feed to produce a pound of fish and that they are only going to lose .01% of water in this closed system.

I wish them well. This is a huge improvement on open net farming. I just think their projections are a tad overly optimistic. Hopefully this method will be economically viable and can replace open net farms in the future.

Right- the laws of physics would seem to say differently.

and that they are only going to lose .01% of water in this closed system.
Simple evaporation would be more than that.

This is more a criticism of the way the article is written- it seems to be something of a Good News sales job.
