Hey guys, anyone check out the boat show this week?
I made a day trip over today, It was a pretty good turn out.
I was a little dissapointed that i couldnt get much help with my Center Console idea tho. I asked diffrent dealers and what not and knowone could give me a good idea. I even ask the representative from lund and i asked him how i could renavate my boat but he couldnt give me any ideas and he told me that i cant buy a console from the company to accomdate my boat. I was a little choked and quite shocked that Shimano didnt have a booth set up. I was hoping to buy a Shimano hoodie or something while i was there but unfortenly unsuccessful.Other then that the show was unreal, many beautiful boats and set ups. A lot of money sitting in B.C Place. I checked out the 2007 Merc's too which was also impressive, they are really smart looking. The highlight of the show though was seeing my hunnies Shelly and Courtney from the old show fishing with Shelly and Courtney which was my favorite show back then. All and all a trip worth while and look forward to going to next years show.
Cheers boys

Helped out at one booth for Sat/Sunday.
Underwhelming was my impression.
BC Place is a tired dirty old dump now the canopy is dirty the toilets worse.
The exhibitors were by and large the same old/same old with a few noticeable absences.
Wouldn't pay a nickel for admission that's for sure.<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

Good question-a political question.
As mentioned there's a move on here in Vancouver to tear down the old heap.
If they put the Oly ceremonies in there they'll have to spend millions to make it even half presentable then of course who'll want to tear it down then?
Could still happen though because after all it's just taxpayers money(!)
