I like to support independent local businesses when I can. Here’s a promo I saw on Facebook for The Tackle Shack at Pacific Playgrounds.

I have no vested interest in this business but I am a loyal customer so I wanted to share some savings opportunities coming up. Unfortunately, I can’t partake in the sales event! Lol

Great thread! I totally agree in the importance of local businesses. I have made point of no longer going to big boxstores.

Those OTI jigs that are on sale are wicked. I used to be all about plastic swim baits until I tried the 400gr OTI jigs. They drop fast & are much better at avoiding getting hung up on bottom. With the hooks on the top jig it don't get caught an stuff on the bottom. When I was out the last time my partner went through some expensive swimbaits. After the second one was lost he threw one on and kept it on the whole trip. It outfished the white grub.

Shipping takes a pretty good bite out of the savings though.
