hey guys, just a wonderin if u could give me some advice,
last summer i worked at silver kind lodge here in campbell river, and i gained a lot of experience and knowledge in the sportfishing industry. ive been around fishing and boats all my life, and have a fair bit of experience for my age(16). i would love to work at a more remote well established lodge this summer(the Queen charlottes in my dreams<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>).
any help or info or advice would be greatly apreciated.

thanks again, cody

hey!...wheres my float?
uh oh...

Well they're all on the net-do some searching and put a resume together along with some references and email the Lodges.

that's why there's a warranty!

Hey there Bite me,

Most of the lodges have done there hiring back in Jan. but still give them a call because there can be a high turn over rate in the charlottes and they might need someone mid season. They want to see a hard worker that isn't affraid to put in some major hours, good people skills, fishing experience, and clean cut. We had a 16 year old last year that has returned this season and will most likely be a guide one day soon. Drop me a line if you need more info.

Good Luck

I worked at the Tyee Resort in Bamfield a few years ago and it was one of the best experiences of my life.
Sure you have to deal with whining customers, but they tip good!

I definitely recommend doing it. I have a job at the Summerland Trout Hatchery till July, but after that im gonna either get back on the commercial boat i work on, or try and get on at lodge.
