It's still early in the year, but preliminary forecasts from federal government scientists suggest B.C. may be in for another active wildfire season.

The Canadian Wildland Fire Information System released its latest seasonal forecasts this week, predicting that most of the southern half of B.C. will be more vulnerable than normal to wildfire throughout June, July and August.

More fire because the planet is heating up and because there is a lot of dry fuel (beetle bug kill) caused by the planet heating up and the winters not being cold enough to kill the beetles. Does not look good indeed.

It's a hoax??? Dam! There goes my plan to buy some Arctic water front and open up a Pink Salmon Fishing Lodge and Cruise Ship Port of Call next to the Club Med.

That is sad. So is the raging wild fires that put innocent people in BC’s northern and interior regions out of their homes at the time when most of us are thinking of hooking and landing that one last trophy fish.
For what we’ve done to this planet over the last 40 years, I’m amazed by how forgiving the nature has been to us thus far...
