I need some info on the scale bar in hope I know the beach fishery is closed but are you allowed to anchor right off the shore there in a boat. The reasons for the closer are that they did not want people crossing the highway or the railway and the garbage, fights and it is private property. So I dont see why you wouldnt be able to fish it from a boat.

Effective August 29 2001 until further notice, non-tidal waters of the Fraser River upstream of the Trans Mountain Pipeline to the Hope Trans Canada (Hwy 1) Bridge is closed to all salmon fishing.

This action is an interim measure that is being taken as a result of fishing activities in this area which do not follow within Fisheries and Oceans policies for conducting responsible and orderly harvest of the fisheries resource nor do they fall within the Code of Conduct for Sport Fishing in BC.
