Had a chance to talk to the Operations Manager from Salmon King Lodge up in Rivers earlier this week.
The Lodge has been sold and a huge-I mean gigantic-expansion is planned.The new owners are spending millions for a monster sized dock, new houses not cabins houses for guest accommodation, at least 3 outposts and more.
This won't be just a Rivers Inlet based operation at all they intend to cover much of the mid coast.
This is going to raise the bar considerably for all lodges on the coast.
It's so big they won't even open up next year-too busy building.
