Maybe they are back and no one realizes it cause no one fishes there anymore?
I used to fish there with everyone else in the late 60s then I moved away. The Colonist used to publish weekly catch reports and 90% of the listings were from the inlet, year round. For example, 1 of about 100 listings- 15, 12, 20 lb- herring strip, and on and on. Wire line and planers with calm seas always.
Never see a boat there anymore, very sad. Decimated the big runs I have been told.
