Does anyone have the return info for Robertson Creek?
we'll dig them up...
I’ve been looking but can’t seem to find anything. If DFO posts returns to all systems, it would be nice to know where to find the info.
Not sure about Robertson Creek specifically - but it normally takes a few months for the numbers from whatever the counting method used (fence, walking, test fishery, Didson, etc.) to be worked-up into escapement numbers and into a stock assessment report. Generally - preliminary escapement numbers are available early December.
The Pacific Salmon Commission has their test fishery numbers online within a week or 2: http://www.psc.org/publications/fraser-panel-in-season-information/test-fishing-results/
I'll see what numbers come out of the sfac 23 meeting tonight
Am I interpreting it right if I get 46,000 Chinook returned but were expecting 70,000, and 44,000 were caught before hitting the river?
Thanks for the info.
the in season over all forecast was for 70,00o... correct 44341 before the river... they had more then projected in the river this year...... looking at the Jacks looks like a good year next year.
Oh ok. So 70,000 includes caught fish before the river. So 89k or so total when looking at it like that
correct so the return was higher then forecasted......
