New to the area not really sure here in bc what the fishing rules r for the rivers.the conservation officers wright the rules confusing.Id love to go fishing the puntlage but not sure where is legal to fish although it sounds like there is no river edikit.fish a pool for 20 minutes and move on and let others have a turn as there is no need to be greedy.what is a man who is not a conservation officer doing asking others what they are doing on the river?rude at the very least someone like that needs a good boot in their arse.Is there a map to explain where there is legal fishing on this river so i don't need a philladelphia lawyer?

Not sure what you are trying to say, best go into a tackle shop to get the lowdown.

Just stick to the river below the hatchery. The boundary below the counting fence is marked with 2 big white triangles, fish downstream of these. Open all the way to Puntledge Park. Closed to fishing above and below the creek flowing through the park, again marked with 2 triangles. Your best access points are Puntledge Park on 1st street,Condencery rd bridge, and Lewis Park 5th street

Along the former valley link hwy 1km before the left across the puntlage river bridge heading south there is a trail to the west side of the river. Not quite shur why comox lk tributaries are not closed to fishing.
