Should put that money toward building closed containment systems and they wouldn't have to worry about sea lice. Wonder if the taxpayer is helping pay for that ship as they seem to be spending a lot of our money for these companies regarding research, etc. when it comes to these lice...

Maybe the Norwegian government should be footing
the bill for all this research....

Maybe these companies know something you dont..ie these ff are here to stay IN the ocean...hence the investment in the ship with new technology.

You believe government(s) don't do their own (tax payer funded) research in areas of other industrys that foreign companies own...or for that matter tax/your $$ in incentives or tax breaks.

Im sure one day there will be many viable $$ making closed containment salmon ff in BC and they will be advertised as GREEN salmon or something like that and compete with open net and "wild caught" salmon.

Just as other industries have evolved to do this there will always be some company selling "coal"
