I recently took my 1982 9.9 Johnson kicker apart to replace the impeller and see that it could use the housing unit too. Phoned around and was shocked</u> to find that the water pump kit is about $60 plus tax. This motor has been good to me, bought it used in 1996 and I have not done a thing to it except the usual maintainance and of courselook after it but it started not pumping out the water and I found the line would get plugged up, thus the new kit is needed. Does anyone know of somewhere around Victoria where to get new outboard parts at more down to earth prices?????? I placed an add on UsedVictoria but so far no response.
