New top door to Square Crab Traps?

Anyone have a good way to create a new door to the square crab traps with the top door? I think it's pretty common to loose the door. Thanks!

i have used jumbo zaps and wove them..

go to the dollar store and pick up a stainless cooking rack. kinda like what you would smoke your salmon on in a smoker. wicked cheap. have one side permanently hinged with zap straps and the other side use re-usable zap straps.

I was thinking the same as RiverBoy. Just pick up a stainless rack and zap strap it on. Seems like the best alternative.

That's a great idea. Typical square traps have doors which are too light, a bit more mass and they close better in current, keeps your keepers in a bit longer
