Moderation

I would just like to take this opportunity to address the fact that MyEscape and myself have taken over the moderator roles for the board in consultation with Hugh the administrator.

We all know the benefits of this discussion forum and both MyEscape and myself have been long time members and understand the people and their humor that makes this board so great and will do out best to let the discussions carry on with the humor that many of us enjoy.

We are working together to enhance the discussion on the forum and make it a place for many of the regulars that have left to come back. (its great to see some of you back!) We are also working in partnership with several of the other forums to do our best and eliminate some of the "Negative Posters" that are out there.

Earlier today an issue was pointed out with regards to a couple of topics about the same issue and we felt it necessary to delete the entire topics.

Both of us will gladly respond to any emails or concerns that people have.

Any user who finds material posted by another user objectionable is encouraged to contact us via email. We are authorized by the this site to remove or modify any data submitted by you to these forums for any reason we feel constitutes a violation of our policies, whether stated, implied or not.

This is part of your agreement when becoming a member of this site.

Just so you know we recieve nothing for being moderators. We are just determined to assist with the growth and quality of this site and forum which we both enjoy being a part of.

I think it's great we are quickly seeing some of the previous positive contributing members returning to this forum. Thanks to so many members that did not give up on this site even after numerous personal attacts. Which are now a thing of the past. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Just wanted eo express my apprecation for the work you guys do, I'm new to west coast fishing and the education I have received on this forum I couldn't have bought.

I haven't noticed the trash talk but I may have arrived after you cleaned up the neighborhood. Thanks to all the contributors as well.
