Marine/Deep Cycle Batteries at Lower Mainland Costcos?

Do any of the Lower Mainland Costcos carry marine batteries? Costco website says available in store only but I went the the two Burnaby locations and they don't seem to have them, so dont know if they are limited to specific stores or provinces or something. Looking for something to power a 40lb electric motor...

I bought mine in Richmond.

Well that was an adventure. I called the Richmond location about deep cycle marine batteries and the guy said they had them in stock. I go there and there's nothing on the shelf. Was able to figure out the proper SKU code or whatever they call it from the book they had in that section and it turns out the only Costco in the whole province that has them in stock is in Courtenay.

Go to a battery and get a 12 volt golf cart battery you will get days out of it the heavier the better

Would a golf cart battery be better than a deep cycle marine battery? If so, why?

A golf cart battery is typically 6 volt so you would need two batteries and hook them up in series
You would have much more reserve than one single 12 volt deep cycle battery
