Marinco Adjustable Pentographic Wiper Arm

Anyone know how you adjust these? The adjustment for the main arm appears to be held by a plastic wedge under the metal clip. Do you need to remove the plastic wedge to extend the main arm?

Figured out how to adjust. The clip has to be levered all the way back and then the arm releases.

glad to hear you figured it out.
I have those (3) on my boat. I've gone through (replaced) 2 of them now. the ball joints wear out over time and then separate. would be nice to find a supply of that ball joint so just it could be replaced rather then the whole unit. they aren't cheap.

I found the 12-17" arm for $60. Not cheap, but the all stainless version is $160, so $60 seemed a relative bargain. Seems to be a bit of play in ball joints on the secondary arm. Hoping they won't rattle when running trolling motor, hate that.
