Manifold replacement

i have a 4.3L and am wondering what people have used to replace, I'm shopping around and am curious about Merc, Barr, and GLM??? Spoke to Dusan at Best choice Marine and he recommends this GLM brand, any thoughts or feedback would be great.

if you can go the "dry joint" way do its an awesome system have I it on my beast and love it really not alot can go wrong with water getting in take a look where the water jackets are totally better

Ditto on this place. I think the brand they carry is HLC??? Or something like that. And yes get dry joint.

Anyone know what is involved in switching to dry manifolds? Is there extra plumbing involved?

No not at all you may have to replace some hoses to shorter or longer as my intake was on bottom , good to replace hoses anyways...
I always go on the assumption to replace every 5 years EVEN if they look ok toss em and get fresh last thing you want is spraying water into cylinders
i may be wrong but the dry joints will last even longer

You could google the original style and the dry joint style. The improvement in design is very obvious.
