I need some help. I seem to remember that there were a couple of mooring balls/buoys somewhere between Harbour Entrance and Nettle Island, but I haven't been in that part of Barkley Sound in a while. Can anyone help me with the location of those buoys?
Thank you!

i have not seen any when passing through..checked navionics and did not see any..if they where not Parks Canada, they may have been removed. sure are some nice spots on the south side of nettle!

Thanks for the input. I'm looking for protected and somewhat secluded waters in Barkley to moor or anchor a 58 foot boat. Is Nettle Island a suitable location?

so many places that are sheltered in the sound, Nettle being one of them. be chart aware!! beauty spots in the broken group that no matter what way the wind is going it is sheltered. i do not suggest cigarette cove as guide boats leave every morning from there. lol

If you find them make sure to add them on the Navionics app.
