I have seen quite a few of these still in service as guide boats. I like the low profile design, do they still make them? Are they pretty well built? They look heavy and seaworthy!

Yes they're still in business in North Van and promote themselves as the World's Oldest Fibreglas Boatbuilding Company.

Excellent tough units they build never felt unsafe in one.

The quality is first class. Tough as nails as I believe Sewells has rented them for years.

Thanks for the link... Those Coast Guard Boats look NICE!

ya cool boats - but come on hourston maybe time to buy your own domain name and get off the free hosting???

Saw a new 18ft with a pod up in telegraph cove lastyear with a 250 etec! Unreal boat but man it seemed overpowered. That 23ft hardtop would be a nice ride.

I have a 1977 17 ft with a 140 evinrude. Still runs well with a trip to Tiptons outboards evey year or so to fix the odd problem.
