Guest Boat Moorage in Nanaimo?

I have a friend with a 30 foot sailboat looking for approx. 3 weeks moorage in Nanaimo (or perhaps as far as Comox)

Anybody have any info on where he might begin his search?

The waterfront suites and marina has dock space. If he has a tender he may want to consider new castle island, they have lots of mooring bouys and there are flush toilets and showers. It's also close to downtown for restaurants and grocerys.

There is always the Government floats right downtown. Downside is that you will likely be rafted up two or three deep.
