This Ocean Kayak Torque has caught it's share of salmon at Otter Point and Clover point and now needs a new home!
I spent over $3500 putting together this setup.
The kayak is a stable, sit-on-top Torque model from Ocean Kayak. The "torque" refers to the built-in Minn-Kota trolling motor that runs off of a Marine battery housed mid-ship. There is enough power to troll for even Coho while dragging a 6lb ball to keep the bait down...and the battery charge gives about 3 hours of fishing at that speed.
There is a nice, large rudder that gives stability and steering even in heavier seas...and a speed control (including reverse) between your knees.
The motor and battery can be left behind if you'd rather paddle...and a keel drops into the motor slot in the rear.
