I've noticed on the historical posts when you click on the last one
it will not come up.

Yes, I noticed this too Scott. I have added it to the list of things to check on for Chris. May be a setting due to inactivity but not sure?

I have noticed something odd with my own profile. The number of posts I am attributed to having posted appears to be in error and has gone up inexplicably by more than 2500 posts over where I was at on the old forum platform and that is not even counting, one assumes, the new posts since Oct. which have yet to be imported. I assume this is some sort of bug or importing error.

Just noticed another apparent issue. Under Preferences I un-ticked the box for “Show your online statue”. Rather than hide my presence in the ‘those on line’ section it changes my user name to a light blue color from the normal dark blue color when I am signed in. So in effect, rather than hide me, it not only does not hide me, but indicates by the color change that I am trying to hide myself. I personally don’t care if I am hid or not when I am signed on, but if the option is there, it should work correctly.
If the font color was changed to white rather than light blue it may hide it by blending it into the white background but it would still indicate that someone was trying to hide themselves and the letter count of their user name by the space left before the comma. I would have no problem with removing the hide option altogether for thosed signed in, as I think that was how the old forum software was set up.

Compared to alot of senior members, I am a real lookie loo. I have had a quick spin tonite and have found the new site very easy to navigate and easy to use. I enjoyed being logged in automatically. Not sure if that was my windows phone or the updated. Thanks for all the hard work! I know that the behind the scenes can seem unappreciated and I would like to extend my gratitude on behalf of the other "part timers". Keep up the good work.

I seem to be having problems when I try to view a picture. If it is a thumbnail and I try to open it it just closes right away. Also in an album when I try to open the picture from inside the album it doesn't display on the screen. Anyone else having the same issues?

Hey Charlie,
Do you mean viewing an image that is a Thumbnail in a thread? I'll add one below and tell me what the prob seems to be.
Also.....I mentioned to @Admin Brian yesterday that some of the gallery images were screwed up. I know ALL of mine that were added in the testing phase will let you view them kind of as a thumbnail/preview type image but if I click to expand the image all that is there is a little black 'X'.
Tell me with the thumbnail below if you can open it or not? Are you trying to expand it on a phone, tablet or computer? This one expands fine for me as it opens up a new "image viewer" type window.
@Pippen I can see your thumbnail no problem. I will check into the gallery issue with Chris today. When I view any media gallery photos that have been uploaded since the new version went live they show up perfectly but the ones form our test members didn't appear to transfer properly. Here is an upload from my media gallery created during the test phase to see if it shows in the post.

Roger that. Although the same image I posted above was in my gallery during testing.....this one was loaded directly from my computer.

This is a link to an example of a thumbnail that doesn't open properly. I get a screen change like it is trying to open then it quickly reverts back to the original.

@charlie415 the post you are referring to above is from our older vBulletin 4 platform, so I am not sure if we will be able to change the appearance of the photos as they were not uploaded with this technology. I will ask our IT guy about it. As for my test from my gallery in my earlier post, that was created during our test phase and it appears that any media gallery created at that time did not transfer to the live site properly. Anyone creating galleries since we went live and using them in their posts are functioning properly.

@bhp the PM function in this platform is called Conversations. You can start a conversation with another member by clicking on their member name and a box will pop up with their profile information in it. There will be a "Start Conversation" tab in the centre of the box. Click on that, fill in the text box and click "Start Conversation." You can also start a conversation from your Profile options. Hover over your username in the blue menu bar and a drop box will appear. Click on conversations, fill in the information and you are on your way.
