These are a few areas approx. an hour to two hours away from Vancouver which have a lake, river, and camping areas.

1. Golden Ears Park has Mike Lake, Allouette Lake and Allouette River.
2. Squamish Area has Alice Lake and Squamish River and Mamquam River.
3. Chilliwack Area has Cultus Lake, Chilliwack Lake, and Vedder River (the river is closed for the entire month of June).

BC FISHING Freshwater Directory and Atlas is an excellent resource to have to help you find more areas to fish. The magazine tells you road access, directions, weight and species of fish, restrictions, etc.
