F150 backup alarm compatible hitch and ball

My 2015 F150 has a much more sensitive backup alarm than the 2006 when a trailer is not there so I have been hunting for a hitch and ball that work. After trying several that are not compatible, this style of adjustable hitch sits close to the bumper and does not trigger the alarm in my truck. Princess auto had Chinese version for $90 and it includes 2" and 1 7/8" balls.

Be aware that the 5/8" pin for the adjustable joint is longer than the standard locking pin. Currently on the hunt for a longer locking pin.

my Sierra has the same problem, it senses the hitch and shuts down the back up alarm

I think it's much closer to the bumper. Hitches with the amount of rise I want are typically longer and put the ball further away from the bumper. I would have been happy with just having to remove the adjustable part of the hitch but the fact that I can leave it all attached made me ecstatic!
