18lb might be a push! hard to say buy overall I would think they should pull 15's slow but steady! they arent mine but I would say talk to scotty and see what they say about 18lb ball retrieval.

• decent speed, lifts 7 lb. weights at 235 ft./min. and 15 lb. weights at 203 ft./min.
• 18's and 20's may be a tad on the heavy

I took both my old scotty electrics to scotty for service. I made sure they knew that i was not the original owner and that i bought them from not the original owner, so 3rd or 4th hand to me. Replaced parts and serviced.....for FREE. Awesome customer service.
