Cooler Mount

Hey guys, I have a 19' boat with an inboard. I was thinking about getting something made to mount a cooler (fish coffin) on the back of the transom, I have a small swim step on one side, and the kicker bracket on the other side.

Can you guys post any ideas or pictures of current setups. Thanks.

Hey I am interested in the same thing. I have a small swim grid and would like to mount my Igloo cooler on it. Check out the pic of Wolf's boat. I like the stainless steel tube holder he made and the fact you can easily get it out.

Here's what I did.

Got some stainless 20" right angle brackets (Trotac has them) and mounted to the transom via some stainless bolts. Got some 1/2" marine Starboard at Industrial Plastics and cut to shape. With some of the extra starboard, I made some right angled brackets to hold the cooler. Added some tie downs to hold it in place.

I use a 100L cooler with wheels but you can go bigger or smaller as needed.

Wow, nice job.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did that cost in materials?
