I've been using a Bare Blackwater Waders for 4 years. I recently replaced my waders because of a slow leak along the seams which is quite common with the older model (black interior). I've had the new model (silver interior) and so far it's been very good.

An excellent breathable waders are the Simms Gore-Tex Guide but are quite expensive aprrox. $500.00.

SteelRainbow, thanks for the comments. From what I am hearing the Blackwater model costs around $400, so not too far off the Simms, which I heard were the best around. To your knowledge, do these outfits ever go on sale? A couple of dealers here say no, cause of very limited interest. At these prices I have to give up alot of birthday and Christmas gifts over the next years to get a set. Take care.
