Baja Fish ****

Nothing special but my wife and I made it out today on a beautiful calm morning and took these nice Sierra for smoking!!

Right on Mike...how do they turn out once smoked???
Do you make bait at all or are you dragging clones and tossing iron??

Those things are delicious! They also make really great blue marlin bait once noes hooked and trolled...

Yum! Was our favourite tasting fish a few years ago on a sailboat. Keep the pics and reports coming.

Wire leader (30lb) and a yellow or blue hootchy with a 1/4 to 1/2 oz ball weight in the nose/ trolled at 6 to 7 mph just at sunrise is the ticket. Lots of fun and smoke up really nicely.

Freeze a couple and bring them home! I betcha a hali would think they were some sort of huge pilchard lol
