At some point soon I hope people figure out there is more important things than money. Like leaving our kids,grand kids and great grand kids more than a big mess.

Teck market cap currently over $16 Billion. A $1.4 million fine or a small cost of doing business for them. Unless and until violators face penalties that actually deter them from harmful, illegal practices they will continue to see these fines as a small cost of doing business. Keep electing bought politicians and this will continue in perpetuity
