Ascending descending order

I cannot find a tab that allows one to choose the posting date order. Whatever I do it is frustrating to be looking at very old reports over and over .Most forums I am a member of had a tab somewhere that gave you your choice for default setting Ascending or descending. I can't seem to find that here. any ideas?

Once I log on, if I click on a thread, it will open on the posts I haven't read yet (the ones on the last page or second last). Does that not happen for you? I use a laptop not phone.
If not logged on, it opens page 1. Pippen knows the proper answer.

Nope, doesn't happen on laptop , tower desktop or device. always old on top
