What is it with these guys wanting directions to fishing holes anyway? In my world, nothing beats the supreme sense of satisfaction in following a good hunch, taking a chance on a nasty drive and long bushwhack or boat ride, and then being rewarded by that float taking a dive on the first cast! Isn't that what small stream steelheading is all about?

Such an awesome feeling!!!

Well...went on my first steel trip of the season to a west coast stream thats name will remain undisclosed although there was acouple other trucks parked there. Nothing too exciting to report, hooked into 3 steelies and had a couple hits. Water was crystal clear and the fish were very tight lipped. All in all it was a nice trip to a new area. Wasnt exactly a day like dirtys 25 fish day but it was fun none the less.

Rain + pink worms = 25, sorry bags but I am awaiting my singles any day now.-dirty

gonna get back at it again tomorrow. Most likely the same location. Any skywater been falling in Port this week?
