2nd Annual Port Renfrew Fathers Day Derby

Pacific Gateway marina ,Island Outfitters,No Bananas Fishing Charters Seawind Fishing Charters and the Local Kitchen are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Fathers Day Derby in Port Renfrew June 15th and 16th. Tickets are on sale at $500 a boat with only a max of 50 Boats,tickets can be purchased through Island Outfitters . Prizes are 1st $10,000 2nd $2500 3rd $1000, there will be 7 other great prizes rounding out the top 10.Fishing boundaries are from Sombrio to Pachenna Light house and out to Swiftsure Bank.There will be a dinner at Pacific Gateway on the Friday night which will include all Captains for rules and weigh in times as well a chance for side bets.

Too bad but I am participating in the SFBC Banana Challenge at Pedder that weekend. The organizers should have picked a different weekend for this here.

Port Renfrew Salmon Invitational Results are as follows: 1st place fish 29.8lb’s caught by Caleb, 2nd place, 26.7lbs caught by Doug Marin of the Q, fishing with Island Outfitters, and third place 26.6lbs caught by Trevor Zboyovsky.

Not me fishing Alpine JDF....That looks blast though....Hope there is a good contribution to enhancement with Davey derby folding....Very important up there big hole now in funding.
